Salus Occupational Therapy

Salus Occupational Therapists work one-on-one with supportive housing tenants on issues that have been identified as barriers to their recovery and satisfaction with their living arrangements.

Barriers identified could include practical, everyday difficulties with tasks such as budgeting and keeping their apartment clean, to other more deep-rooted issues such as anger management and coping with stress.

In collaboration with Salus Community Developers,  Occupational Therapists also run educational and support groups on a wide range  topics including social skills, apartment readiness, self esteem and more.etc.

Occupational Therapists also act as resource staff within the Salus team.
