Monthly Gift
Our monthly HopeGivers program is a meaningful way to support all year long. Monthly giving is a powerful way to help Salus plan for the future and make long-term investments in the care of our clients.
How it works:
- Your donation is automatically charged to your credit card or bank account on the 15th of each month
- You will receive one consolidated tax receipt for your total donations at the beginning of each calendar year
- You can change or cancel your monthly gift at any time

One-Time Gift
A one-time gift allows you to make a meaningful contribution to Salus at any time. Your donation provides immediate support for safe housing and the mental health programs that help individuals rebuild their lives.
In Honour/In Memory
A gift in honour is a special way to celebrate someone or mark an important occasion. When you donate, we give you the option for Salus to send a note on your behalf to the individual being acknowledged.
A gift in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to celebrate their life. When you donate, we give you the option for Salus to send a note on your behalf to their next of kin letting them know a tribute gift has been made.
Securities
You can donate publicly traded securities such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other marketable securities to Salus. A donation of securities can help you avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the securities.
We recommend discussing this type of donation with your financial advisor before making your gift.

Gifts in Will
Leaving a gift to Salus in your will is a meaningful way to help ensure members of our community have a safe and dignified place to call home. Your legacy will help sustain the housing, programs, and services that support recovery for years to come.

Donate a Vehicle
When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Salus, Donate A Car Canada will handle every step of the process, from vehicle pick-up to final sale. They ensure your vehicle generates the best possible donation value for Salus, and will provide you with a tax receipt.
