How To Apply For Salus Supportive Housing
Salus offers a wide range of supportive housing options in the Ottawa area for adults (over the age of 16 years) with serious mental illness.
While Salus will always try to accommodate supportive housing requests as quickly as possible, the demand for affordable housing for people recovering from mental illness is very high in Ottawa. At present, the waiting period for permanent independent living with Salus is over five years.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO APPLY FOR SALUS SUPPORTIVE HOUSING:
2. Make sure that you read the instructions very carefully and that all required fields are complete.
3. Remember to check off the Salus box (located on page 10) in the Supportive Housing section of the application, along with any other Supportive Housing providers you wish to apply to.
4. Submit your completed application and all supporting documents (including proof of income and proof of residency) either by mail or in person to:
The Social Housing Registry of Ottawa
2197 Riverside Dr., 5th Floor

Please note that applications will not be accepted by fax.
